It’s Diaries because the text comes from two separate accounts of life during the war in Ukraine—a guy, K, a journalist from Ukraine; and a woman, D, an artist from St. Petersburg. Diaries of War. They’re both against the war, and they tell their individual experiences, how it has affected and continue to affect them and their families and circles, and the people in general. It’s a more personal, in-depth view than what you hear on the news or read in the papers. It brings the War up close, and covers a whole year of the war, by seasos—Spring, Summer, etc. It’ll take you an hour and a half or two to read.
