The Albastache bar is under appreciated. It might be our worst selling handlebar, (well, maybe the Bull bar, now discontinued, "beats" it) which is a shame because it's a great choice for our road-ish bikes like the Charlie. It has at least three different hand positions, all at various distances from the saddle, so you can slide your hands back and forth as your pedaling effort changes. The area just before the first bend, where on an Albatross bar there'd be a brake lever, is the best stand-up climbing grip on any bar.
On descents, grabbing behind the levers feels super secure; it's easy to feather the brakes and because your palms rest against part of the bar that's perpendicular to the road, there's no sensation of sliding forward. It's like being in the drops, but without hunching over.
This bike also comes with our OM-1 rear derailer. The Dura Ace shifters have an index option that isn't OM compatible, but friction is the way to go to get the full opposite movement effect anyway.
