Roman's Lugged Roadini - 87cm PBH

87cm PBH / 76cm Saddle Height
Roman here, with the arrival of the lugged Roadini, I swapped over my build from my tig'd version. The build has changed a little since the last Staff Bike gallery: I've swapped to narrower bars (46mm) and a slightly longer stem (9cm); got my own dynamo light (I was borrowing Will's EYC before - thanks Will!), swapped wheel sets with my Legolas, and threw on some new tires (it's embarrassing but I think I've swapped tires on this bike more than any other I own).
Here's the build! Build updates at the in italics:
- Nitto x Fairweather M174AA drop bars - 46m (a gift from several years ago - thanks again Chuyan!)
- Fizik Bar tap
- Simworks x Nitto Getting Hungry Stem - 9cm
- Campy Centaur 10spd Brifters
- XTR RapidRise 9spd Mid-cage Rear Der
- Campy Mirage 9spd Front Der
- Easton EA90 46tx30 170mm Cranks
- 11-34 Shimano 9spd Cassette
- Tektro R559s - they brake like a dream.
- Brooks Professional x Nitto Crystal Fellow
- B&M IQ-XS Dynamo Headlight
- Continental Terra Trail 700c x 45mm
- Front Wheel: Pacenti Forza x Kasai Dynacoil
- Rear Wheel: Pacenti Forza x DT Swiss 240
I wrote more about this drivetrain set up here. RapidRise brifters shift like a dream.
